John Sebastian Lightship, a wooden lightship built in 1885, was originally used as a floating aid to navigation before being repurposed as the clubhouse for the Cabot Cruising Club. Its conversion reflects the adaptive reuse of maritime infrastructure and its importance to the local sailing community.
