What is recorded here

John Hewitt Jellett was born in Cashel, County Tipperary, on 25 December 1817, the eldest son of a clergyman and the future father of seven children who would scatter into medicine, engineering, art and politics. He married his cousin Dorothea Charlotte Morris Morgan in 1855, and together they built a household where brilliance ran like a river, producing Eva, the first woman doctor from Trinity College Dublin, and Mainie, the celebrated artist. Jellett died at the Provost's House in February 1888, and the largest funeral procession ever to leave Trinity College carried him to Mount Jerome Cemetery.
