This grey commemorative plaque records: Gladstone House Home of John Harvey 1755-1842 He became Sheriff in 1784, Mayor in 1792 and High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1825. He revived horse racing on Mousehold and introduced shawl weaving to Norwich in 1791
