What is recorded here
Jenny's Cove features a sea cliff composed primarily of Devonian slate, formed around 380 million years ago through the metamorphism of sedimentary rocks under heat and pressure. The cove is notable for its well-exposed coastal section, which provides a visible cross-section of the Torridon Group, a geological formation significant for understanding early Paleozoic landscapes in the region.
