What is recorded here

Cork birthed a boy who abandoned medicine for stagecraft, then rewrote Scottish and English theatre until London crowded to watch his tragedies. He played Hamlet in Dublin, married an actress in Wexford, taught in Glasgow, and returned to Covent Garden with stories sharp enough to make Macready and Shelley take notice. The Sheridan connection gave him a name people remembered; his own inventions gave them a reason to keep remembering.
