James Duhig

James Duhig was born in Broadford, County Limerick, Ireland on 2 September 1871. He emigrated to Australia as a young boy, eventually becoming the longest-serving bishop in the Catholic Church when he died in 1965. His childhood home sits in a small Irish town, but his life stretched across oceans to shape the skyline of Brisbane for nearly half a century.
