What is recorded here
Ivy Scar Rock is a sandstone sea cliff located on the Malvern Hills, formed during the Permian period around 270 million years ago from the deposition of aeolian (wind-blown) sands. It is notable for its striking vertical profile and erosion patterns, which reveal the region's ancient desert environment.
