What is recorded here

Crannog islands are ancient lake dwellings, and Rushin holds one possibly hidden beneath water or reeds. The official record calls it an island, possibly a crannog, in County Fermanagh. That much is certain. The rest belongs to the lake: timber rot, silt hunger, and the quiet patience of water taking back what people built.
