Tom Breac Dairy stands on the Inveraray Castle Estate as an 18th Century dairy, small enough to hide beside the castle yet old enough to have watched generations pass. It may have served the household, producing cream or butter for tables that no longer sit beneath its roof. The estate still belongs to memory and marble, but the dairy reminds us that grandeur also ran through butter, labour and patience.
