Ingman Lodge Shaw Rocks is a coastal sea cliff composed primarily of Jurassic limestone, formed around 150 to 200 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. The cliff is notable for its exposure of sedimentary rock layers, which provide insight into the geological history of the Yorkshire coast.
