In gently undulating pastureland; formerly demesne land. One of 14 similar features marked on the OS 6-inch maps (see also GA059-064---- and GA059-064002- to GA059-064013-). This example is shown on the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16) as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 23m) defined by a solid line. It is planted with trees. Field banks, running roughly E-W, abut it at SE and WSW. A pathway running to the N of the field banks skirts it from WSW to N to SE. Only the section from SE to WSW survives. It is defined by a bank that is overgrown with trees. A ditch to the S of the bank may be the remains of a ha-ha ditch. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 29 July 2016
