What is recorded here
In gently undulating pastureland; formerly demesne land. One of 14 similar features marked on the OS 6-inch maps (see also GA059-064---- to GA059-064001- and GA059-064003- to GA059-064013-). This example is shown on the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16) as a small roughly circular enclosed tree copse (diam. c. 12m). The trees have been cleared away and apart from a slight dip in the ground level, no visible surface trace survives.
