On top of high ground, in pasture, with good extensive views in all directions. Enclosures (TS043-009----; TS043-006----) are located 170m and 450m to the S and N respectively and a ringfort (TS043-010----) is located 650m to the SSE. A large irregular-shaped enclosure (approx. diam. 90m) is depicted on the 2nd (1903) ed. OS 6-inch map. It is not visible at ground level.
