What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history and fantasy still tangle. It is the kind of place where a child might dare another to touch the grass, certain the ground will swallow them or return them changed. The name itself points at mystery rather than explaining it, as if the fort wants to be seen but not understood.
