Indicated is a possible ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland. It occupies rough undulating pasture east of extensive forestry. The oval measures 23.5 metres north-south and 32 metres east-west. A heavily overgrown earthen bank rises 0.8 metres around the edge. The shape suggests human making, but age and use remain unclear. It may have been a home, a marker or a boundary. The land has changed around it. The bank still stands. That much is visible. The rest belongs to imagination and time.
