What is recorded here

Indicated is a low oval earthwork in County Mayo, its northern bank curving inward like a letter e to mark an entrance. The collapsed passage inside suggests people once went downward before emerging into pasture light. The shape still points, even when forgotten.

In pasture, on high ground sloping to S. Oval shaped area (40m N-S; 30m E-W), enclosed by low bank (H 0.3m) of earth and stone. Bank curves inwards towards interior at N point, forming 'e' shape; may be entrance feature. Collapsed Man-made underground passage (MA100-128001-) in W of interior.
