Mid/late 19th-century lime kiln, built against natural slope in quarry. Front elevation (E) of rubble limestone, with short returns on sides, retain core. Stone-arched recess (H 2.15m) with lower inner arch, sloping slabs to rear. Funnel infilled. Earthen ramp to rear.
