Situated on rise of ground overlooking stream to S in upland area. Associated with St. Fiacc and it was the residence of the Chief Bishop of Leinster (Comerford 1886, vol. 3, 249-265). Church (LA032-018001-) in centre of graveyard with a large number of uninscribed gravemarkers are present and some cut granite has been used. Granite high cross (LA032-018007-) in S quadrant of graveyard and a second high cross (LA032-018003-) in W quadrant. Roughly D-shaped graveyard (int. dims. 38m N-S; 37m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall as indicated on current ed OS 6-inch map. Church in centre of graveyard.
