Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Skrine, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies an oval area towards the bottom of the E-facing slope of Skrine Hill. An earthen bank, drystone field wall, hedge and field wall define the perimeter, while a large spoil mound sits outside the SW-N boundary. No visible fosse or identifiable original entrance remains.
Towards the bottom of the E-facing slope of Skrine Hill. Oval grass and scrub-covered are (dims 35.6m NW-SE; 22.5m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.5-5.6m; int. H 0.5-0.6m; ext. H 0.3-0.5m) SW-N, a drystone field wall and hedge N-SE and a field wall and hedge S-SW. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. A large spoil mound has been added outside the perimeter SW-N.
