Indicated

In pasture, on flat land c. 150m N of the River Moy. A slightly raised circular area (35m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 1m) NNW-SW and by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.1m) SW-NNW. An external dry fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.8m) is evident SW-NW; elsewhere a band of rushes (Wth 3m) may indicate the line of a silted-up fosse. The interior is crossed by a hedgerow on a NW-SE axis. Some quarrying has occurred in the fosse at W. This rath was indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map with seven evenly spaced deciduous trees outside its perimeter. A boggy depression a short distance to SE is, according to local information, a silted-up well.
