What is recorded here
A roadway is marked on the 1839 ed. of the OS -inch map running from Ballygortin through Dughlone and on the boundary between Newtown and Ruanmore (L c. 1.5km), most of which is now defunct, but there is no reason to believe that it is an ancient road.
