On a SE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 48.2m ENE-WSW; 44.2m NNW-SSE) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 2.4-5.4m; int. H 0.45-0.8m; ext. H 0.65-1.5m) W-N-E and a fosse (Wth of top 7.7m; Wth of base 3.2-4.7m; D 1m) W-WNW and N-ENE. The monument is bisected by an ENE-WSW road, and S of this feature it is defined by a scarp (H 0.9m). There is no identifiable original entrance (max. ext. diam. 65m E-W). Rath (RO035-040----) is c. 150m to the ENE.
