What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to myth. Its name sounds like a pointer rather than a person, as if the land still marks something nobody remembers. The clay may have held a family, a herdsman or a child before the story changed it into a fortress for invisible tenants.
