In pasture on SW-facing slope. Hachured as circular enclosure on OS 6-inch map (1842). Circular level area (58m N-S; 54m E-W) partially enclosed by stone field fence N ->SSW. Interior level with steep dip in towards bank on SW side. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
