The crannog in Lough Gara is in County Sligo, Ireland. It stands as a low mound measuring 8.6 metres north to south and 7.1 metres east to west, rising 0.64 metres above the water meadow near the present shoreline. The surface consists of well-set angular stones topped with larger boulders, creating a distinct edge separate from the surroundings.
