In pasture, on a low rise. A roughly circular area (diam. c. 47m) defined by a scarp (max. H 2m). The interior rises gently from the edge to the top of a low rise; foundations of a large rectangular stone building (15.3m NE-SW; 6.3m NW-SE) are at the centre. Indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a large trapezoidal enclosure (70m N-S; 60m E-W) with a curving E side.
