What is recorded here

In pasture, on the E-facing slope of a bog-island. A circular area (24m N-S; 25m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.2m) SSE-NNE and by a scarp elsewhere. The scarp is topped by a field boundary NNE-SE. Large stones revet the inner face of the bank in places. Numerous gaps occur in the bank. The E two-thirds of the interior is raised to compensate for the hillslope.
