In pasture, on the S-facing slope of a drumlin. The enclosure is levelled and not visible at ground level. Indicated as an oval enclosure (c. 30m NNW-SSE; c. 20m ENE-WSW) on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, with trees planted outside the perimeter and one in the centre of the interior.
