The crannog in Ardkeeran (tirerrill By.) is in County Sligo, Ireland. The roughly circular mound measures 11 metres north-south and 10 metres east-west, rising 1.2 metres above the shore on the southwest edge of Lough Meharth. A central crescent-shaped feature spans 7 metres north-south and 4 metres east-west, holding compact soil mixed with charcoal. Grass and a few bushes now cover the site, which remains intervisible with another crannog about 400 metres to the southeast.

On the SW shore of Lough Meharth, an inter-drumlin lake and intervisible with another crannog (SL034-016----) c. 400m to SE. A roughly circular low-mound crannog (11m N-S; 10m E-W; H 1.2m above the shore) with a central crescent-shaped mid-mound (7m N-S; 4m E-W). The mid-mound consists of compact soil mixed with charcoal and has sharp edges which drop c. 0.23m to the surrounding plateau. The crannog is overgrown with grass and a few bushes. It is indicated as a circular islet, c. 10m from the lakeshore, on the 1838 OS 6-inch map and as a small projection into the lake on the 1914 OS 6-inch map.
