Indicated (1846) was a Caher ringfort on the south side of Hog's Head in County Kerry. It has vanished entirely from the rough pasture, leaving no wall, ditch or shadow behind. The land swallowed the fort, erasing the boundary between human occupation and open sky. What remains is a gap in the earth where a circle once stood.

A circular enclosure is marked at this location on the first edition of the OS map, and is named 'Caher' on the OS Fair Plan. No surface trace survives of the monument, which was located in rough pasture on the S side of Hog's Head. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
