What is recorded here

I suspect anyone using Sheepfold in Ogúil would count the sheep twice and still feel one had slipped past. The missing animal would turn up beside the person doing the counting, leaving them to decide whether to admit it before the whole family heard.
A roughly subcircular enclosure marked on the 1898-9 resurvey of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection to be a sheepfold (13m N-S; 10.8m E-W 10.8) made up of a single line of drystone walling (H 1.5m).
