What is recorded here

Indicated is a broken oval cashel on a Galway hilltop, its dry stones barely visible beneath grass and forgotten time. The wall survives only from east to south-southwest, suggesting a circle now surrendered to the sky. Whatever lived inside has vanished without trace, leaving behind a shape large enough to hold people and quiet enough to erase them.
