What is recorded here
Situated at the S edge of a fairly low plateau in an area of limestone pavement with thin grass cover. Listed as ‘ Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Visible on an aerial photograph (GSIAP R 12/11). On inspection in 1997 this was found to be a subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) defined by a modern drystone wall.
