Built against natural slope. Random-rubble remains of front wall (L 9.6m; H c. 4m) to SE retains earthen core; stone-arched recess (H c. 1.65m; Wth 2.1m; D 1.5m) with limestone voussoirs, second lower inner brick arch, sloping slabs to rear. Ledge above recess on front elevation. Funnel infilled. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
