What is recorded here
Indicated is a crannog in County Cavan, Ireland. It is an artificial island, likely built of stone, soil and wood, rising from lake or wetland. People may have lived there, kept animals or simply marked a boundary between water and land. The name gives no further shape, but the form is clear: a small made land where nature and human hands met.
