What is recorded here
In pasture. A roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 42m) is indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and is outlined on the 1900 revision which indicates wet marshy ground in the interior. A public road runs NW-SE c. 20m S of the enclosure and a field boundary ran from the S edge of the enclosure to the road and from the ESE edge northeastward. On satellite imagery the monument appears to have been completely levelled.
