What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular earthen ringfort in West Cork, built on a north-facing slope with a raised interior and a hidden underground passage. It stands in pasture still, its bank two metres high and its shadow long at dusk. The stones did not warn people away; they invited curiosity. A fort should keep out, but this one seems to have kept inward, hiding a chamber beneath the grass where thought can still descend.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (21.7m N-S; 22.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.1m), with shallow external fosse to E. Interior raised on N side to compensate for hillslope.
