In marshland, overlooking Ballin Lough to NW. Circular earthen mound (H 2.3m; diam. 20.5m) presently covered by growth of grass. Mound barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age (c. 2000–1500 BCE). These burial monuments are significant as they reflect early communal burial practices and social organisation in prehistoric Ireland.
