What is recorded here

Indicated is a faint earthen ring in West Cork pasture, marked on the 1842 survey but reduced now to a slight downslope scarp. It may have been a home, a boundary or a story made visible, yet the land has taken back most of its shape. What remains is enough to suggest that people once drew a circle there and believed the circle should exist.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Marked as circular enclosure on OS 6-inch map (1842). Slight scarp on downslope survives; no other visible surface traces.
