What is recorded here

Indicated is a broken circular cashel on a Galway slope, its stone wall collapsed into rubble while a field wall cuts through the ancient line. The shape still suggests a fort, but human hands have rearranged half of it. What remains is a boundary marker more than a home, reminding that even abandoned places continue changing under ordinary use.

On a S-facing slope in grassland. Poorly preserved circular cashel (D 24.5m) defined from NNE through S to WSW by a drystone wall, now reduced to a spread of rubble. Elsewhere a degraded scarp forms the enclosing element. A field wall cuts the monument at NNE and SSW. An enclosure (GA056-105----) lies c. 120mtoESE.
