Indicated

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Indicated is an earthen ringfort in County Kerry, Ireland. It sits immediately south of a house, a circular area twenty-seven metres wide with a bank that still stands despite overgrowth and a concrete yard at its edge. The interior slopes east, suggesting people once moved through the space with purpose rather than chance.
In pasture, immediately to the S of a house. A circular area (27m E-W; 25.5m N-S) defined by a bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 0.3m) which is covered in overgrowth N-S. The interior slopes down to the E. Along the S arc, the bank slopes down externally to a concrete yard.
