Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilmore (athlone North By., Athleague East Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a rise in a level landscape and contains a circular grass-covered area measured 28.5m north-south and 26.8m east-west. An earthen bank surrounds the interior, reaches 0.9-1.05m externally, and narrows to a 0.8m scarp along the east-northeast to south-southeast section. A shallow fosse cuts through the bank from southeast to northwest, leaving a 3m entrance at the east-northeast.
On a rise in a level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 28.5m N-S; 26.8m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.1-6m; int. H 0.05-0.25m; ext. H 0.9-1.05m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) ENE-SSE. There is a fosse (Wth of top 5.2m; Wth of base 1.4m; D 0.35m) SE-W-NW, except SSE-WSW where it is obscured by spoil. The entrance (Wth 3m) is at ENE.
