The fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Killoran North is in County Sligo, Ireland. The raised circular area sits in undulating pasture at a break of the south-facing slope. A low scarp defines the boundary, while a northeast gap allows machinery to enter the interior. Quartz extraction has cut into the external slope at the north and south sides.

In undulating pasture, at a break of the S-facing slope of a low rise. A raised roughly circular area (32.6m E-W; 34.3m N-S) defined by a low scarp (H 0.9m) NNW-E and elsewhere by a scarp (H 1.5m) enhanced by the natural slope of the rise. A gap (Wth 2.2m) at NE gives machinery access to the interior. The interior slopes gently down to S and SW even though the S portion has been raised to compensate for the hillslope. The external slope of the scarp is quarried into at N and S and overgrown with bushes SE-SW. Immediately outside the scarp at SW, a slight depression (Wth c. 2.7m), bordered on its external side by a low rise (Wth c. 3.7m) which merges into the natural slope, can be traced through overgrowth for c. 8m. A road lies immediately to SW.
