What is recorded here

Indicated is a vanished fairy fort beside the Dripsey River, mapping a thirty-five metre circle that ploughs and patience have erased. It survived on paper through the nineteenth century before becoming invisible in rough grazing. The lost boundary still invites imagination, marking a place where human hands shaped the earth and time removed the proof.

In rough grazing, c. 100m W of Dripsey River. Hachured as circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; field fence, S of enclosure, curves SSE->SSW.
