Situated just off the crest of an E-facing slope. Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a D-shaped area (dims c. 45m E-W; c. 35m N-S) on the 1925 ed. This is a D-shaped grass and scrub-covered area (dims. 43m NW-SE; 30m NE-SW) defined by a straight field bank at S and a low bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1m) with external fosse W-N-E. There is no visible entrance, and it is planted with deciduous trees.
