Situated in a low-lying marshy valley in pasture with a stream immediately W of site with a possible rectangular enclosure (TN027-014002) immediately to the E. Rectangular area (dims. 54.7m N-S; 50.5m E-W) enclosed by a bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.33m) and wide, shallow, flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 5m; D 0.74m) with outer bank (Wth 3.7m; ext. H 1.3m) best preserved along S side. Leat at SE angle. Interior heavily overgrown; traces of building on a platform in the interior were previously noted (Barry 1977, 204). Site truncated by field bank from middle of S side to NW corner.
