What is recorded here

Indicated is a stone ringfort on the lower slopes of The Paps of Dana, where a drystone wall still holds an oval of earth beside a ravine. Its western gap faces the valley, inviting entry into a place where human hands shaped the land before memory faded. The fort stands in pasture now, yet its lines suggest rooms, herds and lives that no longer speak their own names.

In pasture, on an E-facing slope near the edge of a ravine, on the lower N-facing slopes of The Paps of Dana. A raised oval area (38m NW-SE; 33m NE-SW) defined by a drystone wall (T 1.2m; int. H 0.85m; ext. H 1.55m), highest at E. The interior slopes down to the NE. The entrance (Wth 2.2m) is at WSW. Field boundaries abut the wall externally at SW, NW and NE.
