Indicated

Situated on a steep NE-facing slope in severely poached pasture. A badly degraded, large circular area (diam. 58m E-W) defined by a low, denuded earthen bank (Wth 1.7m; int. H 0.73m; ext. H 0.45m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 2m) at NW. The interior slopes to the NE and the upper half is occupied by feeding rings and a large silage mound. There are a lot of gaps due to cattle trampling. Field banks abut the site at NNE and SW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
