What is recorded here
Located at the E tip of an E-W ridge. It is indicated only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure planted with trees. This is a circular area (diam. 30m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.7m). It is planted with mature deciduous trees. The tree-ring (LE015-149----) is c. 75m to the SE.
