What is recorded here
Indicated spans five and a half kilometres from Formoyle to Lislarheen Beg, marking Clare soil with cashels and wedge tombs. It is not a transient feature but a matured landscape where human hands shaped the earth across generations. The field system still breathes beneath modern life, inviting wonder about the people who measured, bordered and remembered that land.
An extensive field system (c. 5.5km N-S; c. 2km E-W) visible on OS Aerial Premium (2012-2018) stretching from Formoyle at N, across Faunarooska to Lislarheen Beg at S. Numerous cashels and enclosures as well as several wedge tombs lie within.
